With more than 25 years experience in the IT industry, Mark Dods, the principal of Sinclair Services, has been supplying, configuring, networking, supporting, repairing and upgrading PCs since the days of the original IBM PC.

Since those early years, Mark has seen the development of Microsoft Windows, and worked with all versions since Windows V2 right through to the current Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012.

The explosion of the Internet in the 1990’s and the associated rise and rise of the Linux operating system saw Mark utilising Linux to build web servers and provide Internet access for a school with over 400 workstations and 800 users. Always looking for the best tool for the job lead to Mark building a network of closely integrated Windows, Linux, and Novell Netware based services.

Moving from the education industry to supporting small businesses has focussed Mark’s attention even more closely on the need for cost effective IT solutions.
